The Referee Board understands that during this part of the half-season, MFL matches gain additional weight, because it is during this period that the difference is made and the championship gets a clearer picture of which teams are aspiring for a higher ranking, and which are fighting for survival. However, responsibility for the results should not and must not be sought from the referees.<\/p>\n
On the contrary, it is necessary to honestly and objectively analyze one's own football performances, the game and the results achieved. Referee decisions and any controversial situations from matches remain the subject of analysis exclusively by professional refereeing bodies.<\/p>\n
In that regard, the Refereeing Board has so far worked transparently and consistently, publicly pointing out all established refereeing errors in its analyses and announcements. This was done as a matter of principle, even in cases where there were no public reactions or media announcements from the clubs.<\/p>\n
After conducting a detailed analysis of the refereeing of the match between the teams of FK Teteks and FK Bregalnica from the Second MFL and reviewing all controversial situations pointed out to the public, as well as after reviewing the entire video material, the Refereeing Board determined the following:<\/p>\n
In the 10th minute, there is an offensive foul, when the away striker holds the opposing defender in front of him, using one hand on the opponent, thereby gaining an illegal advantage. The main referee is in close proximity to the event, has a clear view and a good angle of assessment, after which he correctly recognizes the foul and stops the game accordingly.<\/p>\n
In action on the side of the penalty area in the 68th minute, the captain of the visiting team and the home defender number 99 are fighting for the ball, holding each other. After the visiting player loses control and possession of the ball, he falls to the ground and calls for a foul. The main referee, and especially the assistant referee, who are in the immediate vicinity of the incident, correctly assess that it is a permissible contact between the two players, caused by a mutual holding, after which they justifiably allow the game to continue.<\/p>\n
In the 85th minute, the situation concerns whether there is a penalty kick violation for the away team, i.e. whether the contact between the defender and the attacker is sufficient to award a penalty kick. Visible from the video footage, and only from one angle that does not provide clear and obvious evidence of a violation, the defender intends to block the shot and attack of the away attacker, making contact first with the ball, and then, due to the inertia of the movement, with the opposing player. The opposing attacker, in reaction, unnaturally jumps in place above the defender, giving the impression that he is increasing the intensity of the contact. The main referee has a good angle and visibility and correctly assesses that the contact is allowed and is the result of the intention to play with the ball, and not to bring down the opponent.<\/p>\n
In all indicated situations of potential uncontested fouls, especially in and around the penalty area, in the shot zone, the main referee consistently applies the instructions given to all referees, to sanction only clear and obvious fouls, with equal criteria when assessing contacts between players, and not light, football-like and permitted contacts.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the Refereeing Committee notes to the head referee that the added time in the second half was not properly determined and added. Based on the analysis performed, there can be no question of any influence on the final outcome of the match due to the refereeing decisions.<\/p>\n
In the direction of complete transparency and open communication, the representatives of the Referee Board invite the coach of FC Bregalnica Stip, together with the club representatives, to a joint analysis of the match at the VAR center of the Football Federation of Macedonia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
