Macedonia's Gjorce Petrov players played an even first half with the favorite Shkendija, but failed to score in the serious chances they managed to create in the middle of the first half.<\/p>\n

After the initial test of strength, the first chance for the "lions" came in the 18th minute, when Aydogan Oguzhan managed to shoot from the right side, but was imprecise. In the next attack, the rebound was weakly caught by Sofijanoski, so Shkendija had the opportunity for quick counterattacks on the opposite side.<\/p>\n

Both teams ran a lot, but Shkendija managed to keep their cool and dominate the transition during the second half. In the 53rd minute, a two-goal score: Shkendija defender Imran Fetai from the middle of his half of the field sent a ball that Krasniqi received on the opposite side all the way to the Makedonija GJP penalty area and hit it precisely into the net of Jankov, who seemed to expect offside based on the reactions of the audience. However, the goal was verified and the Tetovo team took the lead with 0:1.<\/p>\n

Shkendija could have increased the lead on several occasions, first in the 75th minute when a solo breakthrough on the right side resulted in a corner after the intervention of Jankov. On two occasions, quick counterattacks in the 84th and 89th minutes ended in an almost identical way with N'Zenge passing, but in both cases Jankov intervened excellently. The home team fell behind, although they had possession of the ball and were trying to create chances, but they simply could not organize an action that would threaten Baboukar's goal. With these three points, Shkendija tied with Vardar and both teams now have 58 points at the top of the table.
