The Macedonia national football team are continuing their preparations today at the \u201cPetar Miloshevski\u201d training centre for the away fixture in Dublin, where they will face the Republic of Ireland on 31 March.<\/p>\n
Ahead of the match, head coach Goce Sedloski is facing several challenges, while some of the decisions regarding the starting line-up for the previous match against Denmark also prompted certain reactions within the team.<\/p>\n
Konyaspor and Chinese club Dalian, the clubs of Enis Bardhi and Isnik Alimi, officially requested that the two internationals be released from their national-team duties, but Bardhi and Alimi are clear that they want to stay and be part of the national team and will be in contention to play in the match.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, striker Bojan Miovski, at the request of Glasgow Rangers and with the player's consent, has been released from his duties and has already left the national-team camp.<\/p>\n
An additional setback for the coaching staff is the injury (adductor) suffered by Jani Atanasov, who, following medical examinations (MRI), will be unable to play in the match in Dublin.<\/p>\n
Sedloski also addressed the situation involving Aleksandar Trajkovski and Bojan Miovski after the match against Denmark, stressing that the decisions were made exclusively on the basis of competitive form and tactical requirements.<\/p>\n
\u201eAleksandar Trajkovski was not satisfied that he did not start in the starting line-up, but at this moment I believe that physically he is not at the level required to meet the demands of such a match. Our plan was for Trajkovski to get a chance in the closing stages if necessary, but the course of the match did not call for it. There is no reason for anyone to feel offended.<\/p>\n
