Tomorrow, 29 April (Wednesday), starting at 20:30, the final of the Macedonia Futsal Cup will be played at the \u201e26 April\u201c Sports Centre in Gevgelija, where KMF Kegi Mobi from Veles and KMF Projekt from Valandovo will battle for the trophy.<\/p>\n

The two teams took different paths to the final. KMF Kegi Mobi reached the final after a series of closely contested matches. In the round of 16, they defeated Shkupi 4-3, in the quarter-finals they were better than Butel, winning 8-6, while in the semi-finals, after a 4-4 draw against Juventus Serava, they won 5-4 on penalties.<\/p>\n

KMF Projekt had a more convincing run. In the round of 16, they beat Kratovo 7-2, in the quarter-finals they defeated Osogovo 7-4, while in the semi-finals they convincingly overcame Klimi Kavadarci 11-0.<\/p>\n

KMF Kegi Mobi captain Trajche Trajkov is clear ahead of the final.<\/p>\n

\u201eOur goal is to win and lift the Cup trophy. We know it will not be easy at all, but this is a final and we will fight for victory for 40 minutes. We lost twice to KMG Projekt in the league; they have young and quality players, but I believe our experience will come to the fore. I expect us to play smartly and celebrate the trophy at the end.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

KMF Projekt coach Igor Dimov announced the final with cautious optimism.<\/p>\n

\u201eWe do not see ourselves as favourites, because Kegi are a really quality and experienced team. Our matches against each other this season showed that the differences are small \u2013 and those two victories were not easy at all. I expect a tough and combative match, in which the details will decide. We are optimistic, the atmosphere in the team is excellent and there is a great desire for success. We have worked well in the past period and are ready for the final. In addition, it is important that we have no injured players and will be able to count on a full squad. I believe that if we play in a disciplined and intelligent manner, we will have our chances to reach the coveted trophy.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

KMF Kegi Mobi coach Panche Nanev announced the final with respect for the opponent and optimism.<\/p>\n

\u201eThe final is a challenge for every team. We worked hard throughout the entire season and are satisfied with finishing second in the league. It would be a great achievement for us if we manage to win the Cup trophy. The opponent is an excellent team; they are young, well-drilled and we have already faced each other twice this season. But this is one match and anything can happen. Of course, we are optimistic and believe in our abilities.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tomorrow at 20:30 in Gevgelija, the successor to Forca will be sought \u2013 the team that won the Macedonia Futsal Cup last year.<\/p>\n
