The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) condemns the insulting and inappropriate conduct of FC Vardar during the celebration of their victory and securing the Macedonia championship title.<\/p>\n
FFM has always appealed for and called for dignified conduct in victory and humility in defeat.<\/p>\n
The need to chant offensive content and sing vulgar and insulting lyrics while celebrating the victory is particularly unacceptable. Such conduct is inappropriate regardless of whom it is directed at, whether public figures, supporters of the opposing team, footballers or anyone else.<\/p>\n
Rivalry between teams is desirable and healthy only when it is dignified and filled with mutual respect, while any form of hate speech, insults and unsporting conduct has no place in football.<\/p>\n
FFM, as in previous situations when FC Tikvesh, FC Pobeda, FC Vardar, FC Shkendija and other teams were sanctioned, will act in accordance with its competition regulations and disciplinary rules.
\nOn this occasion, the FFM Disciplinary Inspector will immediately open proceedings against the club in connection with the latest incidents.<\/p>\n
The Football Federation of Macedonia remains committed to promoting fair play and will not allow anyone's conduct to undermine the integrity of the competitions.<\/p>\n
