Macedonia U15 were defeated 4:1 by Albania in the first of the two friendly encounters between the two teams.<\/p>\n
In the match played in Kor\u00e7\u00eb, our representatives had the first chance to score when, in the 12th minute, following Mustafa\u2019s pass, Hristov shot wide of Albania\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n
In the 22nd minute, the hosts took the lead through Aljbon Qoray.<\/p>\n
Eight minutes later, Hristov again had an opportunity to get on the scoresheet, but this time his effort was saved by goalkeeper Valerio Alaj.<\/p>\n
In the 40th minute, Albania took a 2:0 lead, with Samuel Prendi scoring the goal.<\/p>\n
Five minutes into the second half, Dragan Petkov beat the opposing goalkeeper and reduced the hosts\u2019 lead to 2:1.<\/p>\n
However, just seven minutes later Albania scored its third goal, with Qoray the scorer, completing his hat-trick after finding the back of our net for the third time in the 60th minute, for a final score of 4:1.<\/p>\n
Until the end of the match, Macedonia had a chance to score a second goal, but following Jovan Janchevski\u2019s assist, Borjan Kostovski\u2019s effort was saved by the opposing goalkeeper.<\/p>\n
The national team will play the second friendly match against Albania on Wednesday, 24 June, in Ohrid. Kick-off is scheduled for 11:00, and the match will be played at the Biljanini Izvori Stadium.<\/p>\n
