Following the meeting between the presidents of UEFA\u2019s member associations and the UEFA President and Executive Committee, the Football Federation of Macedonia decided to withdraw its support for Gianni Infantino\u2019s candidacy for re-election as FIFA President for the 2027\u20132031 term.<\/p>\n
FFM also sent official written notification of the decision.<\/p>\n
The decision was made after careful consideration of recent developments and the way FIFA is governed, particularly with regard to good governance, institutional integrity and transparency in relations with national federations.<\/p>\n
FFM believes that trust, accountability and open dialogue must form the foundation of the governance of world football. The best interests of football and its development must always come first.<\/p>\n
As a UEFA member, FFM remains firmly committed to the common principles and values of European football and will continue to stand alongside all national federations that advocate for the protection, development and advancement of football.<\/p>\n
