In their first appearance at the Mediterranean Games being held in Taranto, the under-20 football national team played out a goalless 0:0 draw against Tunisia.<\/p>\n

Macedonia's young hopes played a quality match against Tunisia and at times had opportunities to score.<\/p>\n

Head coach Aleksandar Tanevski's players had eight shots at the opponent's goal over the 90 minutes, two of which went directly at goalkeeper Rayen Besbes.<\/p>\n

The first was taken by Nikola Manojlov from a free kick as early as the fifth minute, while at the start of the second half there was an attempt by Salim Arifi.<\/p>\n

In the first match in our group, Morocco and Tunisia also picked up a point each after both teams scored two goals apiece.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Macedonia's national team will face Turkey, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00.<\/p>\n
