Tikvesh, with ten players, managed to remain unbeaten and drew 1-1 with reigning champions Vardar in the final match of the fifth round of the First Football League. Judging by their commitment and effort, as well as the chances they created, Tikvesh were also closer to victory.<\/p>\n

In the seventh minute, Gjudjufi crossed from the left, and in the six-yard box, N\u2019Fanli Sila headed inaccurately from an excellent position.<\/p>\n

Two minutes later, Gjudjufi tried from 20 metres, but was blocked at the last moment.<\/p>\n

Tikvesh took the lead in the 21st minute. Following a free-kick cross, Ibrahima Fall found the back of Vardar\u2019s net with a header.<\/p>\n

Just four minutes later, Tikvesh were reduced to ten players after Laval struck Filip Najdovski with his elbow during a challenge. Following an intervention from the VAR room, referee Grujoski showed him a red card.<\/p>\n

Vardar managed to equalise in the 40th minute. Captain Azer Omeragik scored an excellent header following David Babunski\u2019s cross from the left.<\/p>\n

Two minutes later, David Babunski fired a powerful shot from 20 metres, Stevkovski managed to save it, and Omeragik reacted to the rebound, but his attempt was blocked.<\/p>\n

In the second half, Vardar were expected to apply pressure because of their numerical advantage on the pitch, but Tikvesh had many more chances.<\/p>\n

In the 53rd minute, Cvetkovski reacted poorly, and Dikovski had to challenge Sila in the air. Vardar were fortunate in this situation.<\/p>\n

In the 57th minute, Besar Gjudjufi struck the crossbar with a 14-metre angled shot from the left.<\/p>\n

Tikvesh threatened with ten players in the 84th minute as well, when Fall had a chance, but Puleio blocked his effort at the last moment.<\/p>\n

Lucianinho fired a powerful shot in the 88th minute, but Dikovski saved it. Vardar\u2019s goalkeeper had also made a successful save earlier from Popzlatanov\u2019s shot.<\/p>\n

In the end, Tikvesh and Vardar drew 1-1 and shared the points.<\/p>\n
