\u2013 The Management Board of the Football Federation of Macedonia has decided Aleksandar Tanevski <\/strong>to be appointed as the new head coach of the Macedonia under-21 national team.<\/p>\n

Tanevski joins from his work with the FFM youth national teams and the under-20 team, and knows very well the generation of footballers that should form the foundation of the new under-21 squad. In the final two matches of the current qualifying cycle, the new head coach will have the opportunity to work with some of the younger footballers and gradually build the team for the next qualifying cycle.<\/p>\n

The aim is to create a competitive national team that will achieve better results, while at the same time contributing to the creation and development of footballers for the Macedonia senior national team.<\/p>\n

During his coaching career, Aleksandar Tanevski has led a total of 196 official matches as head of the coaching staff in the First and Second Macedonian Football Leagues. He began his coaching career at FK Skopje, securing promotion to the top tier, and repeated the same success with FK Makedonija GP, a team with which he played in the Macedonian Cup final and secured a place in the European competitions. He worked at Akademija Pandev, while his most recent club engagement was at FK Besa.<\/p>\n

FFM thanks the outgoing head coach Goran Stanic<\/strong> for his contribution and commitment to the under-21 national team and wishes him success in his future professional challenges.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The Management Board of the Football Federation of Macedonia has decided Dejan Jakimovski <\/strong>to be elected president of the FFM Referees Board, succeeding outgoing president Bozhinovski. Emil Bozhinovski is stepping down as president of the Referees Board of the Football Federation of Macedonia for personal reasons. Bozhinovski, however, remains part of the refereeing body within the Federation and will continue to contribute his many years of experience to the development and advancement of refereeing in Macedonian football.<\/p>\n

Jakimovski has extensive domestic and international experience as a referee, with more than 500 matches in the First and Second Macedonian Football Leagues and over 110 international matches as a FIFA referee. In his work to date, he has been a member of the Referees Board, a UEFA referee observer, as well as VAR manager and project leader during the implementation of VAR technology in Macedonian football.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The FFM Management Board reviewed the request for support and a donation for the reconstruction and refurbishment of the auxiliary football pitch with artificial turf, the \u201eKjumurno Igralishte\u201c in Bitola. Taking into account its significant role in the development of youth football and the need to create safe and high-quality training conditions, The FFM Management Board accep<\/strong>ted<\/strong> the request and approv<\/strong>and<\/strong> ed support for the reconstruction of the pitch<\/strong>, including the replacement of the artificial turf and the rehabilitation of the surface and necessary infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The FFM Management Board accepted the proposal of the Disciplinary Commission to amend the fees for appeals to the Second-Instance Commission for Petitions and Appeals. Under the decision, the fee for individuals is increased from 100 to 200 euros<\/strong>, while for legal entities from 200 to 500 euros<\/strong>, in denar equivalent.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The FFM Management Board accepted the decision to organize the Children's Leagues in the 2026\/2027 competitive season through the newly established football regions. Activities related to the Children's Leagues are being integrated into the Grassroots Programme 2024\u20132028<\/strong>, thereby creating a unified and more organized framework for the development of children's football and the improvement of conditions for the youngest age groups.<\/p>\n

To implement the activities in the 2026\/2027 season, the following will be used: EUR 160,000 secured through UEFA HatTrick<\/strong>, together with the expected funds from participation fees for the Children's Leagues. In this way, the total budget allocated to the development and implementation of activities in children's football within the Grassroots Programme will amount to more than EUR 230,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aim is to direct the funds towards specific activities that will contribute to involving more children in football, providing better conditions for their training and competition, as well as ensuring the long-term and sustainable development of children's football in all football regions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
