The Macedonian national football team played another outstanding match in the World Cup qualifiers in Russia, but in the end it ended only 1-1 against Albania. Albania took the lead 0:1 from its first chance through Roshi, and Aleksandar Trajkovski equalized from the penalty spot to 1:1.<\/p>\r\n

We deserved to win, we outplayed them, their goalkeeper Berisha saved them. Albania's goalkeeper worked wonders, especially in the last minutes when we attacked the victory with all our might. He was stopped twice by Nestorovski, who had ideal chances, then by the shots of Aliosk and Pandev. Albania took the lead first, and that was after the first shot after Dimitrievski's goal. Sadiku crosses, Roshi heads, and the ball from the right post enters the goal. We responded with a terrible rush. Pandev headed in the 70th minute, Hisaj saves from the goal line, 1:1. Alioski's two bombs followed, but Berisha saves. Final goal. Alekandar Trajkovski equalizes from the penalty spot in the 78th minute. A clear penalty after a handball by the home defense, and after a header by Kire Ristevski. Macedonia deserved three, and won only a point.<\/p>\r\n

Macedonia was a better opponent, Nestorovski twice came face to face with the opposing goalkeeper, but Berisha was more successful. Radeski and Trickovski entered the final moments, but the score did not change despite our better play, the Albanians took a point from Strumica.<\/p>\r\n
