The Macedonian national football team recorded a minimal, but very significant victory on the away field against the unlucky Kazakhstan team in the 4th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Coach Blagoja Milevski's team won 1:0 in an exciting and uncertain match until the very end.<\/p>\n

Both teams started the match offensively, but without any serious threats after the two goals. Macedonia had attempts through Elmas and \u010curlinov, but the home goalkeeper was up to the task.<\/p>\n

In the 33rd minute, Macedonia took the lead 1:0. Aleksandar Trajkovski scored the goal, after he shot beautifully and checked the Kazakhstan goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

In the second half, the Kazakhstan team was the one that had the initiative and created chances, but our defense was excellent in this match, not allowing the opponent to score.<\/p>\n

The Macedonian national team, after four matches, is at the top of the table in the qualifying group for the World Cup (WC) to be played in 2026 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.<\/p>\n

The World Cup qualifiers continue in September. On September 7, Macedonia hosts Liechtenstein. On October 10, we host the Belgium national team in Ghent.<\/p>\n
