The Macedonian U21 national team held its final training session today at the "Biljanini Izvori" stadium in Ohrid before tomorrow's qualifying match against the strong Italian team.<\/p>\n
Within Group E of the 2027 European Championship qualifiers, Macedonia and Italy will face off tomorrow at the Petar Milosevic Stadium in Bitola, starting at 6:15 PM.<\/p>\n
Our selection is in full formation and without any problems with injured players welcomes the favorite in the group. Vardar player, Dimitar Danev, shared his expectations before the big duel:<\/p>\n
"I expect a wonderful atmosphere, a full stadium and a victory for Macedonia. When we wear the Macedonian jersey, the imperative is always victory. Respect for Italy, we know what that national team means to world football, but we are determined and we will go for triumph tomorrow. Italy is strong in the organization of the game, we need to be compact in defense and fast enough in attack."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Danev emphasizes that the defeat to Poland in the first round is already behind us and that the team has learned its lessons.<\/p>\n
"The mistakes have been recognized, and after the match in Krakow, our focus is entirely on Italy. Like every team, they have weaknesses.
