The Macedonian national football team is preparing for the final two matches of this year for the second day.<\/p>\n

The first one on Thursday against Latvia is a control match and it will be a great opportunity for coach Blagoja Milevski to check the form of the players who are in the combination for the key qualifying match against the Welsh national team.<\/p>\n

"Every match has its own importance, regardless of whether it is a test or a qualifier. Our primary goal, as always, is to present ourselves in the best light, especially when we know that the match against Latvia is a test before the extremely important match with Wales," said Aleksandar Trajkovski.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is the sixth mutual duel, and in the previous five we have the same number of victories. In the last three we did not allow the Latvians to score a single goal, while we shook the opponent's net six times.<\/p>\n

"No opponent should be underestimated. Every national team has its own strengths and weaknesses. Latvia is a real team that will provide a quality test before the away game in Cardiff. We should use this match to improve certain segments of our game and be at an even higher level compared to previous matches," continued our national team player.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the current situation in the table in our qualifying group, to win second place we would need at least a draw against Wales, but this team has never dealt with calculations and has always gone for a win,<\/p>\n

"All the players and the coaching staff are only thinking about winning every match. First, we want a triumph in the match against the Latvians and that will be a great prelude before the key match against Wales.
