Tonight, starting at 6 p.m. in Brussels, the groups for the upcoming edition of the League of Nations will be determined by draw.<\/p>\n
For the first time in history, Macedonia is part of the B competition and in the second half of 2026 will play six matches with exceptionally high-quality teams from the Old Continent.<\/p>\n
The Macedonian national team, as a debutant, has been placed in the fourth pot along with the national teams of Sweden, Northern Ireland and Kosovo, who entered this segment of the competition as winners of the C League.<\/p>\n
The seeded teams are Scotland, Hungary, Poland and Israel.<\/p>\n
The second pot contains Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Ukraine, while the third contains the national teams of Slovenia, Georgia, the Republic of Ireland and Romania.<\/p>\n
According to the UEFA calendar, the matches will be played in September, October and November, but unlike previous years, the first four rounds will be played in about ten days.<\/p>\n
