The Bitola first league team had a Pelister "black streak" of 77 days without a win in the fall half-season, so despite the good start, they were forced to play with the main goal of ensuring survival in the league.<\/p>\n

During the winter preparations, the "greens" strengthened their squad with several new players, and also played several preparatory matches during the period they spent in Antalya (Spartak Subotica, Borac Banja Luka, Pakhator Uzbekistan and Navbahor from Uzbekistan).<\/p>\n

\u201c"The weather was not on our side, but we still played four matches with quality opponents. I deliberately did not want to play with weaker ones, but with stronger ones, and in the first half we tested the players we count on in the spring period, and in the second half we gave a chance to the younger ones. Everyone played, got a chance, they had equal minutes, from which I concluded that they are in better physical condition. I do not want to talk about results, about mistakes, some of them are young and maybe it is the first time they are working at this pace. Only when we returned to Macedonia did we play easier matches, as for training with teams from the lower ranks here, like Novaci and Prespa," says coach Stojanoski.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the 17th round of the PMFL, the Bitola team welcomes Rabotnicki, a club that had a difficult fall half-season, so they do not want to allow their plan for survival in the league to be called into question.<\/p>\n

\u201c"The boys are ready, they are working well and we have no injured players. Four players left the club, but we hired five new ones, including Kire Ristevski as a defender. There was not much supply on the football market, so we had to be careful and insist on players like a center forward and a left back, plus two midfielders. I talked to the players and repeated that they must want the victory more than the opponent, because in the autumn part of the season we were favorites in many matches, but due to a series of circumstances such as injuries, bad pitches, mistakes are easy to make. We want a good start with a victory, which is also very important from a psychological point of view," concluded Milan Stojanoski.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rabotnicki has been dominant in recent years in their mutual duels, so Pelister, apart from a few draws, enjoyed their last victory against the Skopje club eight years ago (in February 2018 \u2013 3:2).<\/p>\n
