The coach of the Macedonian national under-21 team, Goran Stanić, announced the list of players called up for the matches of the qualifiers for the Euro 2027 against Poland and Italy. We open the new qualifying cycle on the away field in Krakow against Poland on September 5, and on September 9 at the "Petar Miloševski" stadium in Bitola we welcome the big favorite in the group, Italy.

"There are several changes in our squad compared to the last training camp and the friendly matches we played against Kosovo. We made the changes due to the form of the players. Certain players have lost their place in the team for the upcoming matches, but that does not mean that we will not count on them for the next challenges, of course if they confirm their quality in the club competitions. We are complete, we have no problem with injured players and I hope that it will remain that way after the weekend matches."
"As a coaching staff, we are focused on Poland, we have a tough away match in the opening of the qualifiers, but I believe in our team. We have the capacity, but of course, we have to prepare seriously and make the most of the short preparation period. I hope that everyone will understand their role in the team in the right way.
