Skopje’s footballers are on a poor run of results, but they are not losing heart and hope that they will soon manage to emerge from the crisis and climb off the bottom of the table. Positive results are needed for that, and striker Viktor Angelov hopes that Skopje can cause a surprise in today’s away match by the lake.
„We are on a negative run, but it must be noted that we played well in the last few matches and only some of our mistakes proved decisive in the defeats. We worked hard this week and hope that we will manage to put an end to the bad period and start a positive run. Struga Trim Lum are a strong team, especially playing in front of their home supporters, but if we managed to draw 1-1 in the first match in Skopje, why shouldn’t we remain unbeaten in this encounter as well?“ says Viktor Angelov.
He scored in the last two matches against Vardar and Shkëndija Tetovo.
„I hope that my run will continue, but also that the team will start picking up points,“ said the FC Skopje striker.
The match between Struga Trim Lum and Skopje is scheduled for 12:00 at the City Stadium in Struga, and will be refereed by Blagojche Ralevski.
