The Macedonian national football team will play its final match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers tomorrow evening (8:45 PM). With a draw or victory in the away match in Cardiff against Wales, our national team will secure second place in the group, which means a more favorable opponent in the playoff for World Cup qualification.
Captain Ennis Bardi is confident that Macedonia has the strength to handle the pressure and challenge that awaits them, despite the atmosphere in Cardiff being heavily biased towards the hosts. He stressed that the support of the Macedonian fans will be their biggest motivation.
"I always emphasize that we should enjoy every moment, first of all because we have the honor of representing our country, and then because we know that all the people at home are with us. We may have few fans in the stands, but in our hearts we know that all of Macedonia will give us strength. We are not expecting a difficult duel, but we are ready to give the right answer," said captain Bardi.
