Bashkimi defeated Tikvesh 3:1 in Kumanovo for their first home win in the 3rd round of the First MFL.
At the very beginning of the match, Tikvesh scored a goal, but it was disallowed due to an illegal position. The first threat from Bashkimi came through Xhelili, he shot hard, but the visiting defense successfully reacted. In the 20th minute, Marko Simonovski shot solidly, but failed to surprise the Tikvesh goalkeeper. A little later, Armend Alimi's shot ended up in the outer part of the goal.
In the 35th minute, Bashkimi took the lead 1-0. After a long action, Filip Aleksovski scored from about ten meters. In the last minute of the first half, Aydohan from Bashkimi had two attempts at the away goal, but the score remained unchanged. In the very end of the half, Tikvesh equalized the score, but after the intervention of the VAR system, the goal was canceled because Misov was in an illegal position.
At the very beginning of the second half, Marko Simonovski scored the second goal for Bashkimi, his second this season, after he had already scored against Arsimi in the first round. The same player threatened with a header in the 53rd minute, but the Tikvesh goalkeeper intervened.
The visitors reduced the score to 2:1 in the 55th minute, after Misov avoided the offside trap and shot accurately. After checking in the VAR room, the goal was confirmed.
In the 62nd minute, Tikvesh had a great chance to equalize, Ivanovski passed the Bashkimi goalkeeper, but Panovski intervened just five meters from the goal.
In the 78th minute, Bashkimi scored the third goal. Simonovski shot hard from 16 meters, and after the ball was deflected by the Tikvesh goalkeeper, Aleksovski did the best and scored the goal for 3:1.
In the 87th minute, Memeti attempted an 18-meter shot, but goalkeeper Stevkovski successfully intervened and sent the ball to a corner.
