After the victory over Rabotnicki at the National Arena "Todor Proeski" in the 2nd round of the First MFL, Bashkimi hopes to continue with the same pace against Tikvesh. According to goalkeeper Amir Jashar, the team from Kumanovo expects to reach another three points, primarily due to the great support from the fans, although he is aware that Tikvesh is the team that has strengthened the most in the transfer window.
"We are playing against Tikvesh, a team that, honestly, has strengthened the most in this transfer window. A quality team. It will be a tough match for both us and them. We have the support of the fans, but also of the city," said Jašar.
The Bashkimi goalkeeper believes that his team has a clear goal for this season.
"We have a quality team and we showed that at the 'Todor Proeski' stadium against Rabotnicki. We expect to win the points and attack the top three places that lead in Europe," he added.
The match Bashkimi – Tikvesh will be played today (August 25) at the stadium in Kumanovo, starting at 5:00 PM.
