There was no winner in the clash between the two teams debuting in the First League, in the match played in Kumanovo between Bashkimi and Arsimi.
For the first time in the Macedonian football championship, VAR technology was used, and the first change in the referee's decision was observed in this match.
The referee awarded a penalty to the away team, but after reviewing the situation in the VAR center, it was determined that the foul was committed outside the penalty area. The decision was overturned and Arsimi was awarded a free kick.
Interestingly, Arsimi's first goal in the First League came immediately after, after Armin Besagić scored a precise free kick, giving the visiting team the lead.
Bashkimi played more actively in the extra time and scored the first goal in the First League through Marko Simonovski, which brought them to a draw and the first point in the new First League season.
