The team of Macedonia G.P. today, within the sixth round of the First MFL, welcomes the team of AP Brera at home, a duel in which the "lions" have an imperative in several aspects.
Makedonija G.P. at the start of the championship did not win the desired points, having a difficult schedule with matches against the favorites. On the other hand, AP Brera does not fall into that category, because Strumica's players are struggling both in terms of results and playing. Finally, the home field in the First MFL has always been and will be an advantage for every team, in every situation.
"The championship is at its very beginning and there is still a lot to play for. Maybe we haven't achieved great success in terms of results so far, but the game, and above all the team spirit, is moving upwards from game to game. We have one of the better rosters in the league and I am convinced that the best is yet to come from Macedonia G.P. this season," says the goalkeeper of the "lions" Riste Jankov.
"We played a great match with Vardar. Despite playing against one of the highest quality teams in the league, we showed that Macedonia G.P. never deviates from its principles, to play offensive, modern football. After all, the First MFL is interesting precisely because anyone can beat anyone. Favorites exist only on paper. Brera is a quality opponent, but we have the same approach to every match, enjoyment of the game and maximum fight for victory," says the former youth national team player of Macedonia.
