Arsimi captain Ardjend Gafuri expects his team to put in a better performance away against Bregalnica in the second round of the First Football League. After the unsuccessful start to the season, he believes the team has overcome its weaknesses and is ready for the new challenge.
“We did not start the league the way we wanted, and we are aware that the result from the first round was not in line with our expectations or those of the fans. Over the past two weeks, we have worked hard, analysed our mistakes, and I believe we have improved in several areas — in our play, organisation and the team’s confidence,” Gafuri said.
Speaking about the upcoming duel in Shtip, the captain stressed that Arsimi respects Bregalnica’s quality, but believes his team can achieve a positive result.
“We are aware that a difficult match against Bregalnica awaits us. We know the quality of our opponent, but we believe in our abilities and in the work we have done in training. We are travelling to Shtip with a clear objective — to secure a positive result,” Arsimi’s captain emphasised.
In the end, Gafuri sent a message to the fans, asking for their support throughout the season.
“I call on our fans to continue supporting us. The league is long, and I am convinced that with hard work and dedication we will achieve our goals. We will give our maximum in every match to make everyone who loves it happy“
The match between Bregalnica and Arsimi will be played tonight, kicking off at 19:00 at the City Stadium in Shtip.
