Hristov: The psychological moment was key, I expect even better results in the spring

The Tikvesh team can be characterized as positive at the end of the first part of the season. Considering how the first league team from Kavadarci started, the results can ultimately receive a positive assessment.

With the change of coaching position, which was replaced by Borche Hristov after the departure of Gjorgji Mojsov, things started to move in a positive direction.

Eighth place and eighteen points on the table promise a good starting position for the spring, at least as far as survival is concerned. Although it has to be earned on the field.

"When I arrived in Kavadarci, the team was in a crisis of results and play. That shocking defeat by Arsimi that happened just before my arrival had left a serious psychological mark. Far from the team being at the qualitative level that I found it at the moment I arrived. This team has great potential, quality. The only thing that had to be worked on was the psychological aspect. To get the team back motivated, so to speak. Everything else was at a completely enviable level. Physically, tactically, the team was more than satisfactorily prepared. We overcame that crisis period with training, talks and normal matches. We still have a lot ahead of us, but I am satisfied with what we have done so far," said the head of the coaching staff, Hristov.

In the continuation of the championship, Tikvesh expects an uncertain battle for survival in the elite.

"As for the rest of the season, I expect an even higher level of play and results. The very fact that we will not be making too many changes to the team means that I am satisfied with the selection. There is a period of preparation and additional repair of anomalies and shortcomings. Tikvesh will be completely fine," said the Kavadarci strategist.
