Jusufi secured Arsimi’s victory away at Gjorce Petrov

In the clash between the two teams currently fighting for survival in the First Macedonian Football League, Arsimi defeated direct rivals Macedonia GP 1-0 away from home.

The key moment of the match came in the 28th minute, when the experienced Fatjon Jusufi managed to beat the home goalkeeper Riste Jankov.

Earlier, the hosts had a chance to take the lead through Estupin, while later Arsimi failed to score through Bajo, whose header went wide of the left post.

At the end of the first half, Nikolić scored to make it 1-1, but the goal was disallowed for offside, after which the Serbian also had a chance in Arsimi's six-yard box but failed to make the most of it.

In the second half, Guerrero made a solo run and found himself in a good position, but his shot was blocked in time, before the attempts by the young Mateo Sofijanovski.

With just a few minutes remaining, Arsimi had a chance to make it 0-2, but the shot from Nigerian international Olatunbosun Sikiru hit the crossbar of Macedonia GP's goal.

After today's match, Arsimi have 32 points and are seventh in the table, while Macedonia GP are second from bottom with 23 points and face a fierce battle for survival in the elite football division until the end of the season.
