The Macedonian U-16 national team achieved a 2:0 victory over the corresponding selection of Kyrgyzstan in the second control match that our selection played in Side, Antalya.
Macedonia was the better opponent throughout the match. Despite the two goals scored in the first half, our young players missed several outstanding opportunities.
Fadil Islamovic scored a penalty in the 12th minute to give Macedonia the lead. Soner Rakipi scored in the 18th minute for a 2-0 lead, after a good move by our players.
Blendy Ljachka had a great chance to increase our lead, shooting excellently from 20 meters, but the Kyrgyzstan goalkeeper saved his goal with a good intervention. Dejan Spasevski had another good opportunity to score, but was unlucky to score.
The first test match in Side, Antalya, was played by the young Macedonian national team against Russia. In that test match, the Russian national team recorded a 3:0 victory.
