Macedonia U18 better than Indonesia

The Macedonian national team achieved a narrow 1:0 victory in the friendly match against Indonesia, played in Bansko, Bulgaria.

Our players had the initiative from the start. The first serious chance was created by Gabriel Talevski in the 30th minute with a shot from 18 meters, but the opposing goalkeeper was sure. Just a few minutes later, after a mix-up in the penalty area, the most resourceful was Ivan Tanchev who scored the goal for a 1:0 lead.

In the second half, Macedonia continued to play offensively. The closest to a goal was David Angeleski in the 55th minute with a 25-meter shot that went just over the bar. Although there were several more half-chances, the score remained unchanged until the end.

The coach used the friendly match to give all players a chance, with several changes in the second half.

Macedonia will play its next friendly match on September 17, at the "Petar Miloševski" training center in Skopje, against the Hungarian national team.
