The Macedonian women's national football team under 19 recorded its third victory in the qualifying tournament (Round 1, Group B5) for the UEFA European Championship, thus confirming its dominant first place and its place in the next phase.
Coach Kiril Izov's team drew against Slovenia (1:1) in the key match and thus retained first place in the group, which earned them the desired placement in the next stage of the battle for a place at the European Championship.
Slovenia took the lead in the 35th minute with a goal by Špela Gerbec, but Macedonia equalized just five minutes later through Grozdanova.
In the first round, our women's football team beat Georgia (3:0), and in the second round, they won against Azerbaijan (3:1).
