Macedonia U21 loses to Poland in Bitola

The Macedonian U-21 national team suffered its fifth defeat in the current qualifiers, after being defeated 0:1 by the Polish national team in Bitola as part of the sixth round of the Euro 2027 qualifiers.

The group leader, who has a 100% record this campaign, fared much better than our team on the extremely difficult pitch in Bitola. He scored the goal on time, in the 33rd minute through Kotsaba, thus valorizing his serious field superiority.

In the second half, an almost identical picture was seen on the field. Poland was dominant, winning almost all the duels, while our national team players, despite their desire to resist, simply failed to create a more serious chance, nor did they take a direct shot on goal.

The final blow was dealt to us by the second yellow card for Dimeski, received about ten minutes before the end, after which Poland routinely brought the match to its victory against ten of our players.

Macedonia remains second to last in the table, with only three points won from six matches played.
