The Macedonian A national team will play a friendly match against Saudi Arabia on September 4th within the official FIFA schedule. The match will be played at the Victoria Stadium in Prague, Czech Republic, starting at 5:00 PM.
This will be the third match between the two national teams. The first was played on August 1, 2001 in Riyadh and ended in a draw (1:1). The second match was on October 22, 2022 in Abu Dhabi, when Saudi Arabia won 1:0. Macedonia was represented by players from the domestic championship.
The friendly match in Prague will be an important test for our best players and an opportunity for coach Blagoja Milevski to check the form and tactical ideas before the continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Just three days later, on September 7, Macedonia will welcome Liechtenstein at the Todor Proeski National Arena in Skopje.
