The Macedonian U-17 national team played two friendly matches against their Turkish counterparts on an away field in Antalya. The team of coach Vlatko Kolev lost, minimally, with 1:0 and 2:1 in the two friendly matches at the "Arslan Zeki Demirci" sports complex.
Hussein Shen scored the only goal for the home team in the first match in the 30th minute. Jakov Stojkovski missed the best chance for our team. Papaliski and Dzhangarovski also had chances to score in the second half, but failed to score.

In the return match, Turkey scored the opening goal after the referees did not sanction an obvious foul on our goalkeeper Denkovski. Marko Ivanov had a good attempt with his head, but the home goalkeeper saved it. Macedonia's chances were not used by Martin Dzhangarovski in the first half and Arda Iljazovski in overtime. The goals for the Turkish national team were scored by Emin Eren Sayar in the 41st minute and Yagiz Fikri Shen in the 85th minute, while Jakov Stojkovski scored the goal for Macedonia in the 55th minute.
