The FFM medical team at a prestigious seminar in Munich for professional treatment of athletes

Representatives of the Medical and Anti-Doping Commission within the Football Federation of Macedonia participated in the 8th seminar on professional treatment of athletes, which was held in Munich, under the auspices of the company Arthrex.

Our delegation was one of a total of 20 delegations from Europe that actively participated in this prestigious event.

This year, the seminar was open for the first time to countries that do not belong to the German-speaking area, which is an additional recognition of the professional work and reputation of the FFM medical teams.

The lecturers included top names in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation, including Mark Gillett, Chief Medical Officer of the Premier League, Enda King, Head of Development and Rehabilitation at Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar, and Dr. Daniel Broman, Head of Sports Medicine at City Football Group.

The seminar covered modern methodologies for the treatment of sports injuries, the latest approaches in sports traumatology, as well as practical experiences related to rehabilitation, prevention and nutritional support of professional athletes.

At the seminar in Munich, our representatives were Dr. Nebojša Nastov, Dr. Aleksandar Milevski, as well as physiotherapists Bojan Canevski and Srđan Dimitrievski.

The participation of the FFM Health and Anti-Doping Commission in such an event represents a significant step in the continuous improvement of medical standards in Macedonian football and confirmation of the commitment to providing top-notch care for the national team players and all national teams.
