Struga Trim Lum suffered an unpleasant 1-2 defeat to Rabotnichki in the previous round and now want to quickly return to winning ways with a triumph over Shkupi. Officially the away team, but the Struga side will play at their own stadium today (15:30 CET).
„The expectations, as in every match, are to take all three points. As a team, in every match we have shown that, regardless of the opponent, we play for a win, and that is how we will approach today’s match against Shkupi, regardless of the situation and the position occupied by the opponent,“ said defender Gledi Mici.
The Struga side are not giving up and believe that they can reach second place in the standings by the end of the championship, which would secure a place in European competition.
„There are still many points to play for and, as Struga Trim Lum, we will fight until the end to win second place. I think the chances of reaching Europe are realistic and I believe that in the end we will achieve our goal,“ said the Struga Trim Lum footballer.
This will be the third meeting between Shkupi and Struga Trim Lum this season, with the Struga side having previously recorded two victories over the team at the bottom of the table.
