The best Macedonian referees appointed for the Macedonia Cup final: Sileks – Shkendija

The Football Federation of Macedonia has delegated the referees for the Macedonian Cup final between FC Sileks and FC Shkëndija, which will be played on 20 May (Wednesday), kicking off at 20:00 at the National Arena „Todor Proeski“.

The referee for the final showdown will be Igor Stojchevski, the best Macedonian referee, an international FIFA referee and part of UEFA’s elite referees mentoring programme. The famous Turkish referee Cüneyt Çakır is the mentor of our referee in the UEFA programme. Stojchevski has also been appointed as a referee for the matches of this year’s UEFA European Under-19 Championship, which will be held in Wales.

The assistant referees for tomorrow’s final will be Toshe Itsev, a long-serving and proven international assistant referee with experience on the domestic and European stage, and Vjolca Izeiri, a FIFA referee who successfully officiates matches in the UEFA Conference League and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The fourth official for the final match will be Benjamin Kerimi, a young and promising referee who is part of UEFA’s CORE programme and has officiated numerous high-level competitive matches in the domestic championship.

Aleksandar Grujoski has been appointed as the VAR referee, while Goce Petreski will be the AVAR referee.
