Makedonija GJP and Arsimi will open the ninth round of the First Macedonian Football League with a match that will be played in Skopje.
Gjorce Petrov's "Lions" had a tough start, losing three games in a row to Struga, Shkendija and Sileks, but bounced back after defeating Ljuboten in a Cup match 14:0, followed by league victories over Pelister, AP Brera and Shkupi. In eight league matches, none of their matches ended in a draw.
The team's defense did not function at the same level in the last match against Tikvesh, where Risto Jankov's net was shaken twice, so it is clear to the home team that there must be adjustments in the game because Arsimi has an efficient attack and a better goal difference for now.
These two teams met last season in the Second Macedonian Football League, with Makedonija GJP winning minimally 1:0 at home, while in the return match they played a 0:0 draw. Previously, they had only one duel within the framework of the Cup, which Makedonija GJP won 4:3.
