FIFA's Players' Status Chamber has ruled that the Turkish coach's lawsuit Erdem Alparslan against FC Shkupi 1927 AD is partially accepted.
With this decision, the club from Chair is obliged to pay the player:
10,136.49 euros as arrears of salary, together with interest of 5% per annum, calculated for each individual amount and period of delay:
– 1,136.49 euros from April 16, 2025,
– 3,000 euros from May 16, 2025,
– 3,000 euros from June 16, 2025,
– 3,000 euros from July 6, 2025, until the day of full payment.
Additionally, the club is obliged to pay 33,000 euros as compensation for termination of the contract, together with statutory interest of 5% per annum, starting from 6 (month to be specified in the full decision) 2025, until the date of full payment.
According to Article 8 of Annex 2 of Player Status and Transfer Regulations, if full payment (including all statutory interest) is not made within 45 days From the date of receipt of this decision, the following consequences will apply:
- The defendant will be suspended from registering new players, either at national or international level, until the debt is fully settled. The maximum duration of the ban is three full consecutive registration periods.
- If, after the expiration of three consecutive full registration periods, full payment (including all legal interest) has not been made, the item will, upon request, be delivered to FIFA Disciplinary Committee.The consequences shall be applied only at the request of the claimant, in accordance with Article 8, paragraphs 7 and 8 of Annex 2 and Article 25 of Player Status and Transfer Regulations.
