Decisions from the meeting of the FFM Board of Directors | FFM

At the last session, the Board of Directors of the Football Federation of Macedonia made the following decisions: 

– The play-off match between ZFK Recica and ZFK Vardar for placement in the First Women's Football League will be played on May 28 at 11:00 AM at the "Petar Miloševski" training center in Skopje.

– The Rulebook on Internal Organization and Systematization of Jobs in the FFM has been adopted, with the aim of increasing efficiency and professionalism in operations.

– A company has been selected for the implementation and equipping of a VAR room, as part of the process for implementing a VAR system in the First MFL; 

– A decision has been made to take all necessary legal, administrative and legislative measures to protect the interests of the FFM in relation to the following stadiums:

Tribina Ohrid 

Tribina Kicevo

Tribune Stip

– The proposal to hold online sessions of the FFM committees has been adopted, which will contribute to more efficient work and easier coordination.

– The Board of Directors adopted the proposal to change the competition system from the 2026/27 competition season:

First MFL: reducing the number of clubs from 12 to 10

Second MFL: reduction from 16 to 14 clubs

A commission composed of Agim Ibraimi, Igor Frangovski and Sasho Zdravevski will conduct additional analysis and propose final guidelines for the competition system and the methods of promotion and relegation.

– Kiril Izov has been named the new head coach of the women's national team under 19.

– Astrit Merko has been appointed as the head coach of the women's national team under 15, replacing Jovica Blazevski.

With these decisions, the FFM continues the processes of improving the football infrastructure, organization and competition system, with a focus on the development of Macedonian football.
