Pelister's players left for Tetovo one day before the match with Shkendija, striving to enter the match maximally prepared and to give their best.
The Bitola club had a poor first half of the season, but played to a 0:0 draw in Bitola, with the contender for the championship title in the national championship.

We have nothing to lose, we have several good results that give us confidence, like the last draw with Struga. They had a tough match in the Conference League, we had a little more rest and that is our "wild card". I try to enter every match in an identical way, I would say normally, without giving up in advance. Luck follows the brave, we have to play like men in order to be able to hope for a positive result. It is already starting to be noticed that fighting spirit is characteristic of our game and only by continuing on that path can we succeed. We have a tough schedule in the finish line, but we have to make the most of it and continue focused on the path we have set out", said coach Milan Stojanoski.
The draw in the first half of the season was Pelister's first point in head-to-head matches with the Tetovo club after a four-year break, while the last victory dates back to 2020.
Shkendija, currently the second-placed team in the domestic championship with 45 points, is right behind the leader Vardar with 52 points. On the other hand, the Bitola team is in tenth place with 20 points, the same number as Macedonia's Gjorce Petrov, which is their direct rival in the fight for survival.
