In the first of the two friendly matches that the Macedonia Under-19 national team is playing against Slovenia, they suffered a 3-1 defeat.
The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute, with Florian Mežnar scoring the goal. Just five minutes later, Denis Videnović doubled the lead to 2-0.
In the 42nd minute, Ivo Markovski beat the opposing goalkeeper to reduce Slovenia's lead to 2-1.
The final score was set in the 74th minute when Tilen Letonja added his name to the scoresheet.
The team led by Dimitar Kapinkovski will play another match against Slovenia on Thursday, with the game at the Goran Pandev complex scheduled to kick off at 12:00.
