The President of the Football Federation of Macedonia, Masar Omeragić, at the invitation of UEFA and the Football Federation of Turkey, attended the ceremonial opening of the new UEFA regional office in Istanbul.
The event was held in the presence of numerous high-ranking representatives from the world of football, including the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of UEFA, Aleksander Ceferin.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of almost all the presidents of the football associations from the region, which testifies to the significance of this strategic project for the further development and promotion of football cooperation in Southeast Europe.
FFM welcomes this initiative by UEFA and expresses its readiness for active cooperation with the new office towards the implementation of joint projects and the promotion of football in the region.
Masar Omeragic – President of FFM:
"Through this new office, UEFA will strengthen its coordination with the countries of the region and the integration of European football will be further deepened. Turkey, a country with modern stadiums and infrastructure, will host three major UEFA events in a short period of time, including the organization of EURO 2032, which is a testament to their development and dedication to their work. I would like to express my gratitude to the President of the Turkish Football Federation and UEFA for their cooperation, support and trust.".
Aleksander Ceferin – UEFA President:
