Meeting of the Board of Directors of FFM

At today's session of the Board of Directors of the Football Federation of Macedonia, the following decisions were made:

The Board of Directors of FFM made a decision to appoint Vlatko Kolev as the head coach of the Macedonian national team under 17 (generation 2009). Vlatko Kolev is a holder of a coaching Pro license with almost two decades of experience in working with youth categories in the domestic clubs Vardar, Rabotnicki and Metalurg. He has been named coach of the year in youth football twice. A former football player from the champion generations of Vardar and Sileks, and also played for Macedonia, Gjorche Petrov. In the promising national team under 17, he replaces Dragan Nachevski, who continued his coaching career in Cypriot football.

The Board of Directors of FFM has accepted the resignation of Vasko Skenderovski from the position of head coach of the Macedonian national futsal team. The Football Federation of Macedonia thanks the long-time head coach of the futsal team for his contribution and dedication to the development of Macedonian futsal. Gazment Iseini has been appointed as the new coach of the Macedonian national futsal A team. Iseini is the coach of the current champion and Cup winner, Forza 2015, a team that participated in the main qualifying round of the Champions League. In recent years, he has been part of the coaching staff of the Macedonian national futsal A team.

The Board of Directors of FFM has decided to allocate additional funds from the UEFA solidarity scheme to the clubs from the First MFL for the 2024/25 competition season. The funds in the amount of 101,000 euros will be distributed equally among nine clubs from the First MFL.

FK Voska Sport, FK Gostivar and FK Besa, clubs that have cancelled their participation in the league, will not be included in the distribution of funds from the UEFA solidarity scheme.

The Board of Directors of FFM has adopted a decision determining the ticket prices for the match between the A national teams of Macedonia and Liechtenstein from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Ticket prices are 300.00 denars for the western stand of the National Arena "Todor Proeski". 400.00 denars is the price of a ticket for the southern stand (block 1, 2, 5 and 6) and northern stand (block 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 24). 500.00 denars is the price of a ticket for the First Category, northern stand (block 21 and 23) and southern stand (block 3 and 4);

The Football Federation of Macedonia will enable them free admission on the eastern stand of young football players accompanied by their coaches from the Children's League, football schools from the regional leagues and all youth categories (pioneers, younger pioneers, cadets, youth) in the clubs in the FFM competition system.

The Macedonia - Liechtenstein match from the 5th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying group will be played on September 7th at the Todor Proeski National Arena in Skopje.

The Board of Directors of FFM has decided to install two mini football fields (40×20) in Mogila and Bosilovo. With the new fields, a donation from FIFA, children and young football players in populated areas will have the opportunity to train and play in modern conditions, just like their peers in larger cities.

The Board of Directors of FFM has decided to terminate the contracts for the construction and reconstruction of the stands at the stadiums in Kicevo and Ohrid. The decision was made due to serious irregularities and non-compliance with contractual obligations by the contractors. Also, the Board of Directors of FFM has decided to initiate a procedure for selecting a new contractor for the construction of the stand at the stadium "Biljanini Izvori" in Ohrid and the reconstruction of the stand at the stadium in Kicevo.
