Shkendija routine to victory against Bashkimi in Tetovo

The first half in Tetovo did not bring much quality football, but it confirmed the class of Shkendija, who created chances with half their strength and scored a goal, while Bashkimi was maximally concentrated on defense and waited for his chance from counterattacks.

Shkendija had their first real action in the 24th minute, when the visiting defense made a mistake, and Besart Ibraimi was stopped by goalkeeper Yaşar, who sent the ball to a corner. After the pass, Krasniqi made a great cross into the penalty area, and Reshat Ramadani headed the ball in for 1-0.

Then, Shkendija threatened through Trumci and Krasniqi, but the score remained unchanged. The best chance to increase the lead was Liridon Latifi, who was again stopped by the excellent Jasar.

At the very beginning of the second half, after a seemingly harmless move, Shkendija came close to scoring their second goal. Ibraimi shot, Zuka unfortunately deflected the ball towards Tamba, who easily put it in the net for 2-0 in the 53rd minute.

In the 74th minute, Fetai played with his hand after a cross in front of Shkendija's goal. The referee, after consulting VAR, pointed to the penalty spot. Hodzic was precise, sending goalkeeper Amzai to one side and the ball to the other for 2-1 in the 76th minute.

There was no change in the score until the end of the match, although Shkendija had several good opportunities through Latifi, Ademi and Reshat Ramadani.
