Shkendija wants a triumph over Rabotnicki to continue the chase for the leaders

After the seventh round, Struga TL and Vardar have separated themselves in the table compared to their competitors, and today Shkendija has a chance to get closer to them by two points. This will happen if they manage to record a victory in the remaining match against Rabotnicki, which is scheduled for today at 15:30 at the "Petar Miloševski" training center in Skopje.

Shkendija has two draws and four wins so far, and now wants a new triumph to continue the chase after the leading two teams.

The champion's camp announces that they are coming to Skopje after three points. They respect their opponent, but are ready for another three points in the championship.

"The atmosphere in the team is good. Now we have a tight schedule ahead of us, and every match is important. We are going for a positive result, and a positive result for Shkendija is a victory. Rabotnicki had a crisis at the beginning of the championship, and now they are in somewhat better shape. Every club that plays against Shkendija is motivated and we have to give our maximum. We have to take every match seriously," says Shkendija player Anes Maliqi.

For Shkendija, the Conference League matches will begin soon, and Maliqi says that the domestic championship is the team's top priority.

"Shkendija plays on three fronts, but the most important front is the championship, because in the end, success in the domestic championship then brings European competitions. The entire focus is on the domestic championship. The competition in the team is great. Shkendija has 25 players, and it happens that one day you are in the team, tomorrow a reserve, the day after tomorrow in the stands, but every player is important for the club and I believe that everyone who will be on the field will give their maximum so that in the end we can defend the title and be champions again," said Maliqi.
