Sileks „snatched“ two more points from Shkëndija in the battle for the PMFL title. Today in Kratovo, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw. The Tetovo team let all three points slip in the penultimate minute of regular time, when the Kratovo side managed to equalise.
The first chance was converted into a goal, in Shkëndija’s favour. Ljatif broke through on the left and sent the ball into the six-yard box, where Ndzengue got there ahead of Džekov and put it into the net.
Shkëndija had more of the play and in the 27th minute had a chance to make it 0-2 through Ndzengue, who found himself in a favourable position in front of Džekov’s goal. However, the Sileks goalkeeper intervened with the help of Shubert.
Sileks then enjoyed a spell of pressure. First came an inaccurate effort from Angelесki, followed by the home team’s best chance. Donov shot first and Gaje saved, before the Shkëndija goalkeeper also stopped Dimitrievski’s effort.

In the second half, Sileks took the initiative, but created their first chance only in the 70th minute through Piresh, who headed the ball just millimetres wide of the goal. In the very next minute, Sileks gained a numerical advantage on the pitch after Tamba was sent off for a second yellow card.
Sileks took advantage of that and managed to equalise in the 89th minute. After a move, Alić shot and Gaje saved, but the rebound fell to substitute Mishov, who put it into the net.
As a result, Shkëndija lost two points in the battle for the title, and now league leaders Vardar have a chance to extend their lead to six points tomorrow if they defeat Bashkimi in Gostivar.
