At today's First MFL match between FC Gostivar and FC Rabotnicki, we witnessed a shameful act - a conscious and organized abandonment of the field by the FC Gostivar team.
FC Gostivar has grossly betrayed the football public and fair play.
Instead of fighting in a sporting manner until the final whistle, FC Gostivar decided to escape reality and shift the blame for their desperate actions onto the referees.
The truth is documented: the official minutes state that a representative of FC Gostivar informed the referees ahead of time that the team would withdraw if the result was not in their favor.
This act is a deliberate and deliberate attempt by certain individuals who, due to financial motives and unfulfilled expectations, choose to manipulate the public and degrade the football scene in the crudest way possible.
It is obvious that the recent decisions of the FFM Board of Directors, which clearly announced a crackdown on crime and corruption in Macedonian football, are a direct cause for this shameful procedure.
Those who were accustomed to privileges for years, today, when rules, transparency, and fair play rule, cannot function in a regular system.
Despite this irresponsible and cowardly action, we assure the public that the regularity of the First MFL will not be disrupted. The championship will continue according to the rules and regulations of the competition.
Criminal structures and garbage in football will be completely cleaned up.
The Football Federation of Macedonia will not allow blackmail and pressure.
On the contrary - the FFM will emerge even stronger from these coordinated underground actions that have been taking place intensively in recent days.
Voska and Gostivar will not be the ones to tarnish Macedonian football. They didn't create this football so they have the right to destroy it. Of course, they will end up where they truly deserve.
Our fight for clean football is irreversible. We will go all the way for regular, honest and dignified Macedonian football!
