According to the official referee report from the 20th round match in the First MFL between Shkendija and Pelister, several serious security incidents were recorded.
In the 57th minute of the match, during a stoppage in play due to a substitution, objects were thrown from the stands towards the technical area, and the fourth official was hit in the arm with a coin and a lighter.
The match was briefly interrupted and resumed at the discretion of the head referee.
The report states that dangerous objects were thrown at officials. Those attacked with scalpels, a serious threat to the safety of officials and participants in the competition.
The question arises, what if the judge had been hit by a scalpel? Who would be responsible in that case?
After the match ended, an outsider entered the field of play and threatened the referee and assistant referee. At that moment, some of the audience began throwing objects onto the field again, after which the refereeing team, who had already headed to the locker rooms, was forced to return to the field for security reasons.
After entering the under-stand area, the same person who had previously made threats waited for the referees in front of the referees' locker room and ran towards them again, making threats. The chief referee asked the officials present to remove the person.
According to the report, the club's director, Tsutsuli, said: "Leave him, he's the boss's son.".
Furthermore, the report states that the competition delegate was asked to have the event recorded in the minutes, after which the person headed for the exit in order not to be identified.
All these events have been officially recorded and will be subject to review and action by the competent disciplinary authorities in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Football Federation of Macedonia will act in accordance with applicable regulations and there will be no deviation from this.
