Tikvesh dominated at the City Stadium in Kavadarci and deservedly defeated Bashkimi 3-0. The home team solved the dilemma about the winner in the first half.
After several missed chances by Stojanov and Ivanovski, Tikvesh finally took the lead in the 17th minute through Ivanovski (1-0). In the 32nd minute, Stojanov doubled the lead to 2-0, and just four minutes later, in the 36th minute, defender Jonus Rustu sealed the victory with a goal for 3-0.
Bashkimi had its moments, especially through striker Simonovski, but his attempt in the 42nd minute ended up in the hands of the home goalkeeper.
The second half was marked by routine control of the score by Tikvesh. Despite chances from Ackovski and Mojsov, the score remained unchanged. In the next round, Tikvesh will play away to AP Brera, while Bashkimi will face a difficult away match in Struga against Struga Trim Lum.
