Vardar and Brera played out a draw at the National Arena

The Vardar team failed to record its third victory in the 3rd round of the First MFL, after playing a 2:2 draw against the AP Brera team tonight at the Todor Proeski Arena in Skopje.

Strumica came to the capital looking for a favorable result and they managed to achieve it. They led twice and eventually reached their first point of the season. Vardar, on the other hand, had to settle for a draw after two wins over Pelister and Tikvesh in the first two rounds.

After just 15 minutes of play, Brera managed to take the lead with a goal by Ndzengue, who took advantage of Vardar's carelessness. The Gabonese international went out alone in front of Taleski and skillfully lobbed the home goalkeeper.

However, just four minutes later, Rodgers Mato scored in the away goal to level the score at 1-1.

At halftime, however, Brera took the lead. Zoran Ivanovski made a great run down the right side, ran about forty meters, got in front of Taleski, and then scored with precision for 1:2.

In the second half, Vardar completely dominated and had a huge amount of possession of the ball. They created several situations, and finally in the 88th minute, after an intervention by Vrgov with a header outside the penalty area, the ball reached Mato about forty meters from the goal. He masterfully, with a beautiful shot, hit the empty goal of Brera for the final 2:2.
