With Goran Zakarić's goal in the final moments of the match from a penalty kick, Vardar managed to win over AP Brera.
The key moment occurred in stoppage time of the match when Spahiu shot, Velkov blocked with his hand, after which an 11-meter penalty was awarded.
Throughout the entire match, Vardar had the initiative, but the host did not create a single serious goal-scoring chance, and AP Brera was solidly positioned and tactically well-positioned.
Omeragic had two chances, one with his head and one with his left foot, but in both cases he was inaccurate, so that Mislav Matic had the next chance. David Babunski tried twice, one from a free kick, and once from the field, but failed to seriously threaten the AP Brera goal.
In the second half, the same picture was seen on the Arena pitch. Vardar took the initiative on the pitch, while AP Brera, well positioned, did not allow any serious attacks on its goal.
